Ever see the 1958 Italian movie I Soliti Ignoti released abroad with the title Big Deal on Madonna Street? Claudia Cardinale, Marcello Mastroianni, Vittorio Gassman, etc.  Really funny and the cinematography (b&w, of course) is first class.

George Clooney helped produce a remake of that movie a few years ago titled Welcome to Collinwood.   It is a gem of an indie film filmed around Cleveland.  It was one of the last, if not the last, movie Michael Jeter was in before he died.  William H. Macy, Isaiah Washington, Sam Rockwell, Luis Guzmán and Patricia Clarkson are in it, too.

Speaking of William H. Macy, he was in another movie I like that I'd meant to mention earlier: State and Main written and directed by David Mamet.

An indie film for those who like pool is Poolhall Junkies.  Last movie Rod Steiger was in before he died.  Shot in and around Salt Lake City with loads of poolhall action.  Someone on IMDB called it Rounders with pool cues.  It's got Christopher Walken in it, too.

Christopher Walken has always been one of my favorite actors.
So under rated and has not gotten the recognition he deserves.
I like his mannerisms when jiving with people.

He was a goof in "Communion" doing his classic facial gestures
when he was dancing with the aliens to the commercials.

Once on Johnny Carson he was axed why some fans said he was
seen talking to himself in a restaurant for over an hour.  His
answer was quite simple: "I was practicing my lines for a movie."... Cheesy

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.
