He doesn't mention L6.  If you have one of these receivers and L6 hasn't been converted to a crystal oscillator, then I suggest you do.  That eliminates a problem that plagued many of these receivers over time contributing to frequency calibration.  Suspect cause was humidity causing the coil form to change inductance values, and the setting of that core if very critical.
