https://www.worldradiohistory.com/Radiotronics_AU.htmIt's worthwhile to spend some time with this Australian publication, each issue having from a few pages to a few dozen pages in most cases. It's intended as technical notes on the use or characteristics of various tubes and electronic circuits.
Of note, in issue Nr. 117 from 1946, satellites carrying TV and other entertainments are foreseen by Arthur C. Clarke. They were referred to as "Extra terrestrial Relays" and "Rocket Stations"
As fantastic as it may have seemed at the time (before standard broadcast TV and FM), the problem of the obvious expense and development time of such rockets was countered by the interim proposal of using aircraft all day to fly around cities carrying 1KW transmitters for radio, though I can't imagine that such an activity could have ever been considered cheap.
I like to read old publications that were, at the time, monitors of technology evolution and channels for predictions of coming tech and applications. I hope they are intesting.
