From a much gloomier forecast earlier in the week, the outlook has improved. Some clouds in the morning with clearing later, for Friday; partial sun for Saturday, with possible thunder-boomers later in the day.
The truck is packed; I will be there!

Not a bad Friday at Nearfest. Thunderstorm downpours followed me most of the way up; swirling sheets of rain and full-speed wipers slapping away, which wasn't fun, but it started to let up by the time I got to the fairgrounds at 0630. A few brief showers passed through later in the morning; just enough to keep the sellers hopping, covering and uncovering their stuff. The sun came out later, and it got very nice and quite warm.
Hung out with many of the AM regulars, always a large part of the fun; brought home a few goodies, and generally had a great time. Tomorrow I get to do it all again, but almost certainly without the morning storms and with more plentiful morning sun, and best of all, with the company of my wonderful wife, who doesn't do Nearfest Fridays: too long of a day for her.
