GM AMers!

I just had my first-ever NA AM QSO with Dave W2VW at 2300Z on 29.030MHz. Signals peaked at R5 S9 in the 2300 - 2315Z window.

If anyone is looking for an AM QSO with Zone 29, the band is finally providing us with an opportunity.  I will be on 29.030 looking for NA from 2300 to 2330Z for the next three days-plus.

I have 120W DC into a 2-ele spider quad up at 50 feet.

I worked Simon VA7 in B.C. late this afternoon on 29.000 MHz.
Heard some carrier(s) on 29.030 MHz on CW/SSB after 7 PM EDT, but in the AM mode, wasn't enough signal to tell who it was.
Still nothing on AM from Japan.
