I recently acquired a Henry 2000d 27mhz generator. I have no documentation I am looking for a schematic and parts list. The original manual would be great.

IIRC, those were built similarly to the Henry amateur band amps of the era. Of course there was no bandswitch. I had a 13 MHz Henry in year past (just the amp, no power supply). That parr of the schematic is pretty easy to figure out. I ended up parting it out.

I have the complete unit and it is operational. I had a discussion with a fellow at Henry and he is providing me with what I wanted. I could have just winged it but this was easier. Plus it was cheaper than RF parts. I am the stereotypical cheap ham. I'm not rich folk like y'all.

I'm a little faster than Henry. Was out of town / on the road and had to get the VPN working to get access to the files back home. Here ya go, it's a crappy copy, but it works. I have some other generator schematics and service manuals as well.. Almost all based on the Henry line and renamed, up to 5kw (with the difference between the 3000 and 5000 being a change from 4-250 driver to 4-400 and the 5kw has a pair of plate xformers vs a single for the 2000 and 3000.
The 2000 runs a 4-65 driver or a 12 volt 2 transistor driver. The 3000 runs a pair of 28 volt devices, but at 14 volts. The 5000 runs the same driver at 28 volts.
They used Varian and MRF devices. Usually MRF devices are later builds.
Plate modulation the driver or even scream modulation a 4-400 swapped in for the 4-250 makes a wonderful legal limit self contained rack mnt xmitter.
Word to the wise. If the choke isn't shorted, immediately lift both the choke and plate xformer from the chassis. Those ECA iron just suck! They very easily short.
I usually yank the choke, change to a different cap and make it a fwb cap input. That will give 6kv on the plate and you can make legal limit with a Ranger. A full Viking or valiant will be 3db or better above legal limit.

It is single phase. The RF deck was designed by Rube Goldberg. I guess it was made to accommodate a changing load.

I wish I.had known that I had a Collins amplifer / trasmitter single 4cx5000.. 3 phasee 220. I traded it off I couldn't use it.

They where almost always designed by Charlie Asimoto who later went on to found ASI (Amp Systems Incorporated). Charlie designed most of the high power Henry stuff since the mid 70s. Smart guy. I've worked on plenty of his stuff to realize smart didn't always translate to working. He built a bunch of 10ks amps for uncle Sam back in Desert storm days. None worked upon delivery. And yes on the changing load. Tons where for plasma generation so they did have load changes depending on application. --Shane WP2ASS / ex KD6VXI

Yep, 3ph 'smaller' iron, since our service is 200A 277/480 (on a residential rate meter)with a 45kVA dry step-down to 120/208.
3ph supplies are so easy to filter, FW gives you a little 360Hz ripple. 2Hy & 2uF works pretty well, 4 & 4 is almost pure DC, and the source impedance is down in single digits.
And they take up a lot less room than 1ph supplies. Lighter, too...less iron.
