Thanks for sharing. Always love hamfest photos. Image #4256: nice 2X 813 mouse motel. Probably a great piece of HB gear in its day.

Hi:

Thank so much for posing these flea photos as it allows me to drool over gear I will (and should) never own...

Would think some of those people can clean that stuff up before they try to sell it! Thanks for posting. Have to wonder in today's world if a 75A4 is worth $1,100.00 Did you pick up the RF-350K?

Sometimes it isn't worth the trouble of cleaning. I rescued a garage full of filthy gear just to keep it all out of the dump. I piled it high on my table - free for most of it, $5 for a couple of receivers, and $10 each for the 2x813 HB and three Tempo One xcvrs. Mission accomplished - I only had to toss one CB rig in the dumpster on the way out of the building...

A buddy bought that RF-350K as it was being unloaded from a truck - for $20 (!!). We plugged it in, the lights flickered, and stinky tantalum smoke came out (what a surprise!). I was happy to give him $100 for it as spare parts if nothing else. But being really experienced at replacing Harris tantalums, I have hopes for it - it even has the RTTY option board.

It was a fun fest with lots of interesting gear at good prices.
