This transmitter was Jack's personal RCA BTA-250M 75 - 80 Meter AM Ham Transmitter.

In it's prior life, it was broadcasting music and news on the AM Broadcast Band.  

After the transmitter was removed it from commercial service, Jack professionally converted this beautiful RCA 250 watt AM Transmitter to operate on the 75 meter radio amateur band.

RF Finals are a pair of 813 tubes - being Plate Modulated with another pair of 813's.  

And as you can see, there is a large box of spare tubes, including multiple 813's, 807's and other driver tubes to keep this transmitter in service at your shack for 50+ years.

Jack modified this transmitter to be driven with a RF synthesizer that he built.  

By simply dialing up the 75 meter frequency on his synthesizer, you can easily operate on any 75 Meter frequency that you want to talk on.  See details of the synthesizer in the pictures.

Also included in this sale is Jack's personal Collins R-388 / URR Receiver so you can receive the guys that you are talking to on this Beautiful RCA BC-250M 75 meter AM transmitter.
