I got an email from MFJ responding to my question about the ferrite rod's Mix in this choke.  They said it is Mix 73.

That info is interesting. MFJ has often answered my technical questions and that is one reason I consider their products and own several. It's always good to know what one is buying!  I thought mix 73 was for ferrite beads mostly. (Fair-Rite type) So this is new to me.
