I am saddened to report Joe Pisani, N2YR, passed away yesterday per his son Matt.  The obituary has not been published yet.  Joe was a great guy and radio amateur.

I'm shocked and saddened by this. I spoke with Joe almost daily on 75M. He never mentioned any issues and always sounded great. Awesome sense of humor, too.

This is going to sink in for real in an hour or so when the gang is back on the air but Joe is missing...

Since his return to AM on the IC-7300, his audio was a tad yellowy, but Joe was Red White and Blue. What a terrific human. Joe had tremendous technical knowledge and he was always ready to lend answers to a ham with questions. He was a regular on 3873kHz and the 40m AM window.  73 ∞
