Today I was given an SX 101 by a local him who is totally disabled. He claimed it was professionally restored but after closely inspecting it I’m having my doubts. I need to find a service manual and the alignment instructions so I can go through it. I seem to recall that there were several versions of the SX101. Any guidance would be very much appreciated thanks so much

I did this blurb for the Hallicrafters web site, http://www.w9wze.net/  I think, around 20 years ago. See the attached;
Google will turn up lots of similar info.
