Greetings,
I have for sale a Johnson Ranger 2. This has been completely gone through. New caps, All tubes tested, chernobyl resistor changed out (and located on the bottom chassis) A D-LABS PTT upgrade (this was 80 bucks by itself) and has been on the air with good audio reports using a D-104. (has an electret element).
Transmitter comes with a 2 pin mic plug to wire your microphone, and a cable that plugs into the crystal socket, with a 3 pin jones plug on it (both male and female plugs) to wire to your dow key. This is about as plug and play as it gets.
Cosmetics are about a 7.5 to 8, (not bad, but the pics will show it's been well enjoyed over the years) Electrically, she's 100%.
Price is $425.00 FIRM, I won't ship, but would be willing to drive maybe 100 miles in any direction of Greensboro, NC if you are willing to pay for the gas.
