just put up a video of a WW2 Torn E.b. TRF receiver, not only is it TRF its also a regenerative too. For some reason the Nazis kept building regens throughout the war.  This is the second one of thees I have done and never fails to amaze how much more work using the regen and gain controls add to its use.

They weren't the only ones. The RAK and RAL receivers were also TRF with a regenerative detector.

What does E.B. mean/translate? Wireless?

Or, perhaps 'short wave', or battery power?

Torn = Tornister = Portable

E= Empfanger = Receiver

B= Model B, in this case "Berta."  Model A was "Anton"

Where found, KW = Kurtzwellen - Short Wave
