Thought you knew everything about circuit flow, radiation and fields? Think again. This is a great exercise.  This would be a great r.f. engineer interview question. Watch the videos in order.

Original video (14 minutes) on Youtube by a science educator.  B.A.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Ph.D. in physics education research, Veratasium:

A response (19 minutes) - This guy is the Gilbert Gottfried (R.I.P.) of E.E.!
Mehdi Sadaghdar, also known on YouTube as ElectroBOOM, is an Iranian-Canadian YouTube personality, electrical engineer, and comedian:

Final explanation/response by original author (24 minutes) - No expense spared at Cal Tech proof.  Wouldn't you like to have open-wire line made out of copper water pipe?:

The first video was sent to me by a former VP of Engineering of mine - Dr. Patel. After sending the video to a former colleague Bob (of course), he found the later two videos.

Enjoy.
