I found Steve's Rev C. (2002) of his monitor.  Looks like a fairly easy and inexpensive build.

Anyone still using this and have some comments?   Any updates/further revisions?

At some point I'll likely get the software version, but that expense combined with a new laptop is a bit more than I'd like to take on right now.

I have his computer version with the two boxes and the USB port and I would suspect that building this analog version would be at least as expensive as the computer version.
