I was wondering if anyone would like to meet on 50.4 ? Six has been open the past couple of days but have not heard many people utilizing the AM portion. Just a thought.

Up here in Connecticut we have an informal six meter net Wednesday evenings around 7:00 PM - or whenever anyone shows up - on 50.400. Listen for us if the band is open.

It's worth a try. You're in Pennsylvania, I think? I often work south into Florida on 6 meter AM, but PA might be too short a hop for us. Check out this WebSDR, it's right in my town:

Sorry I missed it - for nearly three hours we were pounded by the most relentless series of thunderstorms I've seen in years: flash/bang microseconds apart, power out and back at least five times, and veritable white-water rapids running through my yard.

6 is really hopping right now. But no AM heard in CT now, lets go guys.

6 meters has been open every day (mainly Sporadic E) since early May (EVERY DAY). The opening shown below, which has been going on continuously since yesterday, will probably roll into Sunday. 10 meters has also been open almost every day with Sporadic E openings. Even 2 meters has been open with some Sporadic E but mainly Tropo up and down the East coast to Florida and Caribbean Islands, and out to Texas and neighboring states.

Probably by the end of August, things will get quiet again with just an occasional opening here and there.

At 10:35 PM EDT today, numerous contacts between JA's and 4 land on 6M. Band is still hopping like crazy.
