PS I am also rated as a glider pilot. The best ride was with Crazy Walter in his Pitts 2a had to strap in 3 times. Last time we saw the runway was we made a left on it, motor is too large to see over it, have to look out the side windows to see where you are going down the TO stript. Anyways when CW lifts off he goes 100 percent straight up at about 220. Needless to say the aerobatics were crazy from thereafter. Never was so sick in my life. More to come.

Rest in Peace Ed. No QRM or QRN now. Cannot get to the basement any more where the boat anchors are, so no AM for me now. Save me an operating position in the shack; still not sure of the time frame.

Sorry to hear this.
Never worked you Ed, but judging by the way you approached this, I sure would have liked to have known you.
May your family find peace and you always have a 60 dB maul.

We were all bitten by the ham bug. This we have in common. Ed was surely one of the boys - a real ham radio enthusiast and will be missed.
RIP, Ed.

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed. Easily done in DSP.
