Restored the 356 in the 80's for my Dad, he lived in NJ like I did. The 356 has been to the top pf Pikes Peak after my resto, among a hundred different locations across the US. But it's never been here, the good old USSR....

PS - the clock reads made in the USSR at the bottom of the dial. The 1963 Porsche is currently running a 1958 motor and trans that I rebuilt in Jersey, still runs strong, passed a m-c biker last time I had it out. What a blast!

Sorry to hear about your problem, I lost my mom 7 years ago to cancer, from diag to the end it was 6 months, the doc treated her for the wrong cancer first, but by the time he found out it was too late.
What radio is the top center with the curved dial? I've never seen one.
Maybe a Scott?
Edit: Looks like a Midwest maybe.

Ed, I recall our ride from your place in PA up to Syracuse to visit W2INR and then head to the Rochester fest. What a blast flying up I81 in your Porche. That was the shortest trip to Syracuse I've ever made!

I have a gone a lot faster, that was my slowest Porsche, hihi, I remember racing a Ferrari across the Brooklyn Bridge, guess who won...  I was doing about 140 or so, that in a 1967 911.

I sure do! IIRC, it was somewhere between Scranton and the PA/NY line. You rolled in there and saw that it was closed. The accelerator was mashed and we hit the highway at 80 or so. I'm laughing about this even now as I type this message. Good times.

same here.

radon.. basement? I didn't really believe it was so dangerous. I could rethink the many radium dials in an unventilated space.

I'm sorry Ed, it's not fair at all and I pray for you for freedom from pain and worry.

I will say this you are one tough man to post this topic.

Dear Ed:

I have listened to you for years on 75AM, and am saddened about your predicament.

I bet there is a really nice AM station in heaven with no QRM or crap-outs.

Thank you for being in our community.

God bless,
Dan
