I noticed a while ago that a rope holding up a fiberglass mast in the back yard was broken near the top and the rest of the rope and the stake in the ground were gone. Now I know why.

Hopefully it won't cause the deer any harm.

The boy looks big enough to break the rope if he gets it tangled up. There should be more rope dragging on the ground but that has broken off already. The antlers should drop in the next few weeks.
These two might be able to help.

The group of four were back this afternoon. He's still sporting the rope.

Last one I shot I used 8MM Mauser. He was QRT before he hit the ground. The butcher complained the round destroyed a lot of meat.

Sine we are on an animal topic, I’m curious if anyone ever saw an albino skunk? I have one in my yard who visits every night. I was told that they don’t small. My yard cam catches him every night!

I'm not a deer hunter, but I often watch the hunting shows on cable; the big boy at the back of the line, right behind the poor guy with the rope, looks like quite the prize.

Never seen a white skunk, but I did see a pure white squirrel once. Thought it was a fluffy white cat for a second, before it scampered up a tree in exclusively squirrel style.

Next time Chris, point of aim BEHIND the shoulder. Double lung'em. He won't go far and no meat damage! Smiley
