Anyone know what's going on with QRO Parts? Their website's been down for days; just get an error message. Hope they're not gone for good; it's a good source.

since the domain name appears good but is throwing PHP error, I'd say the website is broken and maybe the owner does not know.

One would think the owner would notice not making any money.

The web site was up and running December 20, 2020:

Maybe they ran out of things to sell or maybe the Russian government took them all back  Grin

Well, I hope it's just a technical issue, but I'd think someone would have noticed by now. Too bad - they're a great source of high voltage doorknobs and vacuum variables, besides big external anode tubes and sockets.

They sell on ebay. Why not send him a note thru that venue to notify them that the site is down?

I find a qro-stuff eBay store, but not qro-parts. Not sure if they're the same people.

I do note that http://www.qro-parts.com/parts.html works, but just plain http://www.qro-parts.com does not. Sure looks like something wrong with the page.

Looks to be the same place. Same EME logo on the page that is on that working page. I generally buy from the ebay page anyway.

Hello to you all friends
I stumbled across your post about QRO PARTS
If you will read me well, I will share with you my unfortunate experience:
on February 26, 2020 I am ordering a pair of GU-74Bs for my broken amplifier
on May 28, 2020 I see on their tracking that my tubes would have left Russia; not having received anything, I ask them to be told that they are in quarantine (covid) that my tubes are in Sweden and that I will receive them very quickly
September 25, 2020 still nothing new complaint: this time I was answered more curtly than one of the tubes having been damaged in transport and that they sent another pair and to please consult their tracking
Indeed I see that another shipment has been delivered to Sweden (address of a supermarket according to them is normal) ... July 19, 2020!
Still nothing here new complaint at the beginning of December 2020 (my amp is still silent) no response
And now I saw that they probably don't exist anymore
I was able to help myself out very quickly (one week) by another US supplier my amp was restored to life but in the end it cost me dearly
With still all my friendships
