Hello,  I was hoping one of you all would be able to double check my dowkey wiring between a 32V2 and a 75A4.  The red/black leads that connect to the dowkey coil are connected to terminals 7 & 10 on the rear of the 32V2 and the relay on the dowkey is connected to the standby terminals 1 and 2 on the rear of the 75A4.  I would apricate any assistance you could provide.

Unless someone has modified that transmitter, 7 and 10 have no connections. The antenna relay for a stock 32v-3 has to be a 120v coil connected to pins 22 and 23. One of those two pins, and I don’t recall which one but I think 22, is directly connected to one side of the mains feed. I don’t recommend using this stock setup. Bringing 120VAC outside the cabinet and connecting to unprotected coil pins on a Dow Key relay is not very safe. I would buy a 120v coil relay, mount it inside and reroute the relay wiring from the back panel to the new relay. Then you can use pins 7 and 10 for the switched common and normally open connections to the relay. You’ll either have to use an external 12V (or whatever your antenna relay voltage is) or fabricate a low voltage supply inside the transmitter. Not an easy task given the lack of space inside.

Pins 24 and 25 are a normally closed contact closure that can be used to mute the receiver.

Be very careful working around those terminal strips and keep the covers on them when your not. He plate voltage is on a couple of them.

The 32v-2 does not have terminals on the rear up to 22 & 23 so I think the 32v-3 must be layed out differently than the 32v-3.  On the schematic it looks to me terminal 7 connects to the 115v main and 10 is for a remote relay.   I attached a snip of the schematic but its hard to read copied.

My error. I thought I read 32v-3 where you wrote 32v-2. Sorry about that.

I believe you are correct. I’d still consider installing the 120v relay inside the transmitter and use the contact closure to switch a lower voltage Dow Key relay.
