The radio museum in Windsor https://www.vrcmct.org/ recently received a Walter Ashe novice rig. There is some stuff on the web about it but I wonder if anyone remembers these things, especially if you actually owned one.

I still have a Walter Ashe catalog around here somewhere and also a Burstein Applebee.
Like to open them now and again.

I had one of these up til a few years ago. Tried to sell it for $50.00, no takers. Ended up in the dumpster.
