Wishing all of you a Happy Thanksgiving!

No local HS football games here today, but our local AM broadcast station in Westerly, WBLQ is rebroadcasting an old Westerly-Stonington game, from 1998.  So now son Ben’s kids can isten to a football game that their Dad is playing in. How cool is that!  I can’t remember who won, so it will be exciting for me as well.  I suspect they might have picked 1998 to rebroadcast  because it was raining just like today.

Well, Stonington won, 7-0, great game, nothing nothing until the last four minutes, Westerly almost tied it in the last few seconds. Joe Sposato, KA1BWO, now way out in your own private Idaho, was that your kid playing for Westerly?

No need for fish, but it is certainly proper to treat your bird with respect the last couple hours before popping him into the firebox.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!
