Globe Scout Xmtrs--What type of modulation?

Was wondering what type of modulation is utilized in the Globe Scout
 transmitters,--such as the Globe Scout Deluxe, and others that WRL
 built?
 I think it was a form of heizing modulation, but having never owned
 one, am not sure.
 Most of them used a 6146 in the final, as I recall but as far as the
 modulator,--I do not have a clue.
 If anyone could pass along any info, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Glob-scrote 680 on the shelf. It has choke coupled Heising modulation with a class-a 6L6 for the modder.

Ok, --Thanks for the info on your globe scout, es I think the other scouts
      also use the same type modulation scheme.
