2021-10-25:
I bought a replica from member pa3hco. It looks very nice. He makes them from black epoxy molded after an original, and they have a brass insert and two set-screws of hex-type. Tool was included.

Before using, I will clean/lubricate the bandswitch shaft bearings, if I have not already. A difficult bandswitch after so many years of use could have contributed to the breakage of the original knob.

orig msg;
I would like to find an SX-28 bandswitch knob in great condition. A so-so one might be OK for temporary use as the original is kaput. Please let me know what you have. Please use the messaging system here. Thanks!
