I got poking through my radio library for new bedtime reading and rediscovered my copy of Edmund Laporte's Radio Antenna Engineering.  It from about 1952 and chock full of good stuff, especially the transmission line chapter.  It's available from Lulu.com, either printed on dead trees for about $16 or as an ebook for free.  Lulu has lots of books in digital form and prints them on demand.  Not all are available as ebooks, but the quality of the print material is good and they have a wide variety of other books.

Original copies are hard to come by, and this reprint is worth having.  This, and my copy of Terman's book, are the go-to volumes, despite their age.

I have both of those books, plus the one by Kraus. I'd recommend picking up any or all of these in whatever form you can find them. They are gold.

Steve..  I have Kraus' book as well, but it's too heavy for bedtime reading, especially if one falls asleep.
