When I started my other hobby, stained glass, I'd purchase specific types of glass for specific projects. As my supply increased projects were decided based on available glass inventory. I've been cleaning out the garage and found a new in box 717A / VT-269. It's not valuable enough to try to sell, so I'm wondering what project it might be good for?

Any suggestions?

low noise front end RF amp in WWII radar receivers. Like a 6AK5.
Pentode, runs on just 120VDC.. Might be a good preamp.
