Meter for RMS Voltmeter, Motorola S-1053D

Got this free.. Nice RMS meter with dB scales, but discovered the meter movement is broken inside from the unit being dropped. Pity because it's a nice clean specimen.

Looking for a replacement meter, the number on the meter is shown in the image, but I have not been able to find the manual for the S-1053D. Only the S-1053C, which is different and unknown if the meter is the same. Could use the manual too since it has been sitting years and will need the battery setup modernized as well as possibly calibration. Thanks in advance.
