AMer's are a tough bunch should heed the following just in case.

There is a lot of conflicting information on the use of face masks or respirators for containing the COVID-19 coronavirus and whether the infected should wear them or the uninfected should wear them or both. Or which types of masks are most effective or if they are effective at all.

NOTE:  The N95 masks with the valve in front should only be worn by those who are NOT infected.  This type of mask is designed to make exhaling easier and to prevent fogging of safety eye ware when used in a safety related manner or environment.  The mask valve opens up upon exhaling only.  Anyone who is infected and wearing this type of mask is exhaling to open air. The  mask will contain little if any vapor that is being exhaled. This type of mask is designed to protect the wearer from inhaling particulates only and not those in vicinity or the wearer.

Just an FYI

Home of GORT. A buddy of mine named the 813 rig GORT.
His fear was when I turned it on for the first time life on earth would come to a stand still.

Get a mold rated  (or better) multi cartridge from depot.

The one with two twist in filters that cover your mouth and nose.

The filter on the inhale cycle.  Good if you don't have the crud already.

A mask is unlikely to stop anyone from inhaling the virus except to protect from a sneeze or cough from an infected person right at one's face. This is because it is spread in droplets. They settle on surfaces. The real value of a simple mask is to stop/remind people not to touch their faces with their plague-ridden hands. Most masks seal imperfectly around the mouth and nose.

anyway I'm just handwashing and staying away from everyone. opportunity for repentance and or penace.
