I have a mfj-986 antenna tuner. I do not know anything about this unit.  I got it in a big trade and have no use.  It looks to be in decent shape on outside with some scratches and stuff. And looks new to me on inside.  I do believe what he told me abs that was that he only used this thing for about a month and did not have an amplifier at the time.  So should be a good deal for the right person.
