I recently got one of these with the power supply.
This was $40 total just for curiousity value.  Does anyone have the manuals or any idea about this? I've found nothing about this anywhere.

Thanks. I have that. I was just hoping to find the manual for the 5A. I think they are basically the same radio but just for the sake of completeness.
The major issue in this will be be getting a 110/6VDC transformer to power it up -- or I could use an RV battery with a trickle charger.  Those are designed for interior use in vehicles so I suppose they would be fine for this -- I expect this only draws an amp or two on transmit.

Anyway sort of a cool project for the winter..now if I can just convince my wife to buy me a 1954 Buick I'm all good.
