Hello all,

Does anybody know what kind of transmitter this mod transformer came out of? It weighs 160lb.

It has only three primary terminals, and only two secondary terminals, but it lists two different primary impedances. Can somebody explain this to me?

Thanks, Ron

Looks like that from a BTA-1L, 833A's X 833A's.

If I remember rightly, the lower impedance is what is represented when the tubes are cut back to 250W for night op.

It's likely that the lower impedance listed is from CT to one side. Half the turns, a quarter of the impedance.

I need something like that!

I could've modulated two 7984's instead of just one by a couple KT-88's with that...

Would it also be the same transformer as in the RCA-1K? That also has 833s.
