The SX-25 is my son Dave's.  I gave it to him for Christmas when he was home on leave from his deployment to Kuwait in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

He's keeping the family tradition of playing Christmas music on it on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I have been doing that for many years with my grandad's 1929 Radiola 60 circa 1929, my 1945 E. H. Scott SLRM (my Johnny Novice receiver, still working after 55 years since my granddad gave it  to me in 1964), and my early 50s Zenith Trans-Oceanic.
