I was finally able to purchase some wire and have put up a 160-meter dipole in light rain today. First contact was with my good friend Don, N4DJ, this evening. Condx were a little sketchy at first, but we had a decent QSO by the time we ended. I plan to be on 160 more regularly and see some activity this fall/winter.

Excellent signal! I am trying to call CQ around 1880 kHz around sunset when I can get on. Usually at 5PM and 6PM EST.
