Survey completed.

Have to wonder if this has anything to do with cost cutting announcement by the current administration 1 or 2 years ago.

I ran the numbers.
At the tone you've just spent, eleven dollars, ninety-eight cents. BEEP.

I completed the survey.

I'm all for trimming government spending.  But if we can afford 400 + mostly unconstitutional federal agencies including the national endowment for the arts.  We  can afford WWV

Terry,

Gmail and other email places offer free email accounts.
Set one up, and use it for "junk" stuff, like this.
That way that email is for catching junk/spam that you don't want.
Aka the "spam catcher" account. Cheesy

A good idea...

I have not seen an increase since answering the survey.  I'm ALWAYS getting spam though so it would be tough to discern where it's coming from.

DONE.  Hope it helps a little.  Hope they find something useless to cut instead of WWV.

Or maybe even:

As some of you "old timers" on here may have noticed, I have been in "silence" mode for a number of years but be assured, I am not yet in the "silent key" category...

Just to let you guys that might remember that while the call sign "W3GL" may not have been heard on the air in the last few years due to antenna problems, old age (92), etc,
I'm here, watching, to see if any of the old timers might pop up...

Hey Ralph, long time no see.  Frank's place a few years ago. Miss those days.
Glad to hear your checking in occasionally and yes the years seem like
months.  I'm getting E.Radio, etc. weekly!

Wow !  Ralph, it has been forever.  Sounds as if you need a remote control situation.  One place to check is http://remotehams.com.

It would be great to hear you on the air again, via whatever means are available.

Great to see your post Ralph.

Antenna's are not hard to put up, and I know you have had people willing to help, so what is the hold-up?

If you return to the airways, I wonder if you would still have the fastest PTT finger around?   Smiley

I took the survey.  Filled in comments why WWV is important

Used yahoo e-mail address which is the general catch-all here.
Unwated mail marked spam in there seems to work.
