HI FROM TIM..JUST GOT ANOTHER DX60,TRADED A TABLE RADIO FOR IT...ANYWAY,I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCES ARE BETWEEN THE DX60,DX60A AND THE DX60B..? ASIDE FROM THE METER BEING DIFFERENT, AND THE CRYSTALS PLUGS ARE IN DIFFERENT AREAS,IS THERE ANY REAL DIFFERENCE?..SO I HAVE A DX60,AND A DX60A...YOUR THOUGHTS....73..TIM...SK..

TIm,

I think that you pretty much have it nailed. The DX60 also had a line filter on the incoming AC line and there were some power supply changes to the later models but they were small. The DX60B has the meter with the black band on the bottom but I have seen DX60B's with the clear meter also.  Also, the early DX60's had SO239 connectors for the RF output but later they cheapened it up and put in RCA phono plugs. Heath was very confused!

All in all the early DX60 seemed to be the best one to have.
