Hello all, I wanted to order crystals for a bta-1r transmitter and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the required load capacitance ( if it has one). I know a vfo can be used instead however I wanted it to be rock bound.
Thanks

Counting the tube's input capacitance and the BTA's warping cap, it is ~ 30 pF.

I ordered rocks from AF4K, just used regular HC6/U for 1885 and had no issues. That was for my RCA BTA-1M.

If you need some rocks that Bry doesn't have, try www.quartslab.com.
