No luck this morning copying SAQ on 17.2 kHz from Stonington Point for their Alexanderson Day transmission at 0900Z.  Noise  floor due to summer lightning static was about 20 dB higher than during the successful reception back on Christmas Eve.  Was a beautiful morning down on the Point though!

No joy for the 1200Z transmission either.  The comments on the SAQ  YouTube video stream at 1200Z had a posting from Illinois, where the 0900Z transmission was copied but not the 1200Z one.  Was surprised that I could copy the NWC signal from Northwest Cape Australia on 19.8 kHz at 1200Z, usually only can hear it near local sunrise here.
