I have one glass doobie on my 75M loop. It's the only one that hasn't gone up in smoke. Roll Eyes

I think of my Dad taking me into a Radio Shack in Boston when I was a kid and before it was bought my Tandy, a real radio store and I fondly recall the glass antenna insulators!!

I have one glass insulator and the antenna knife switch from my Granddad's crystal set, circa 1920.  We took it down from the house he grew up in when we painted it around 1982.  The knife switch posts were insulated on the backside with tar.
