Red part turned in for a refund.

I got rid of all my tube stuff, but I did keep this and just finished modifying it for 10 meters. It was going to go with the pile too, but my wife said that it was cute and she liked it.

It's a 5763 oscillator/doubler and 7984 final combo. Input to the oscillator is a VFO. I have an external Heising modulator for it using a solid state audio amp.

I've shown this transmitter before, but as a 75 meter / crystal controlled version. Now just to wait 5 years for some sunspots.

It is "cute", sort of steampunk!

Might be a while if cycle 25 is delayed. Some speculate another Maunder Minimum is possible. The 7984's though are a hard vacuum tube...should last a while.  Kiss

Last years sproadic E summer season seemed pretty good on 6 and 10, maybe this year too hopefully. I will have my 10 meter Heapshit lunchbox with amplifier on standby. Did Gonset make a 10M gooney box other than the G28?
