The old Turner Mike sounds very Bassy on my newly acquired AF-67. It's not the Transmitter, since my
D-104 with a K7DYY Pre-Amp sounds great.

Any suggestions on replacing the element in the Turner SR90D ?

Hmm.

Is it the SR90D-5 high impedance (25k ohm) or the SR90D-6 low impedance (200 ohm)?

The Mike says Hi Impedance, but the Mike Switch in the back looks like it
got switched to the Carbon Position (up).

Guess I need to re-test it.

Thanks for the lead.

Yep, screw loose in cockpit !!

Switch was on Carbon side. Sounds better when switched to Crystal.

But, the D-104 with the K7DYY Pre-Amp sounds a lot better.

Tnx for the replies.
