It is not AM but there is some very nice construction going on here...   5kv on 100th triodes?  Even I haven't gone that far!

That's the 2007 show... they do this every year.
In odd and assorted locales... I know quite a number of the more "illustrious" characters
who participate.

Probably great fun to attend.
Can't say the sound is guaranteed to be either good or bad... (like most audio shows)
But it will LOOK GOOD!

Those kinds of somewhat impractical but artistic and useful builds really get to me. Saw a couple rats on that guy's page too, although he did not seem to appreciate them.

That would exceed the rating of the tube by quite a bit, I would expect... fwiw, and imho.

Yes ...You are correct....However,    I have run tubes at (much) higher than ratings and had good results in Ham radio setups...I've always wanted to run 250 ths and 100ths at 5KV levels but I never have .....Not enough spares I guess...
