Thanks to W3JN and WA4BWO, a Lettine 130 has been added to my Lettine family!  This model is a rare bird indeed as there is almost no information on it outside some QST ads.  Tube compliment is 807s for the oscillator, finals, speech amp, phase inverter, and modulator; two 866 rectifiers; and 6L6 clamper.  The QST ad indicates 120 to 130 watts input.

I will post more photos as the cleanup progresses.

Nice Lettine 130.
Have been looking for one for a while or even a 240. I just finished the 6 meter 242 Transmitter and it really does a nice job on 6AM. Put together pretty well for the time period.
Gud luck with her.

Thanks.  The 130 is quite rare and maybe as rare as the 262.  I have amassed a somewhat large collection of Lettines and enjoy restoring and using them.  Information on them is virtually nonexistent outside the old QST ads.  My first was a 242 that I use for a local "net" on 50.4 (Sunday at 7 pm EST).  Lettine also made a VFO and tuner.  I built the VFO unit from scratch (pics posted here) using the schematics.  On a related note, the 240 schematic on Bama is NOT correct, so I will see about posting my scan of an original.

I completed the work on my Lettine 130, which included all capacitors and resistors replaced, wiring cleaned up from previous maintenance, new rectifier tubes, and two fresh 807 finals.  I also had to replace the AM/CW switch.

All works as it should! Output is over 70 watts on 40 meters.

Glad you got it working, and happy it went to someone who really enjoys it.

Sorry that toob got busted in shipping, I thought I stuffed enough paper in the thing to keep that from happening.
