I see one of these sold here recently. If you missed that one and are still interested in owning one, I have mine for sale.

Here is the description from the manual:
"The Multiband AM Pickup - MAP - enhances the performance of communications receivers which employ an intermediate frequency of 455 kHz. As an accessory to communications receivers, the MAP improves their reception by extracting the 455 kHz signal, by providing IF and AF filtering, and by the use of synchronous detection."

Mine is in good physical condition and works perfectly. There is a small hole drilled in the back panel which must have held a switch at one time, but this was removed and the wiring is stock. The unit is serial number 030 and was serviced by Kiwa in 2015. I used it up until recently with my RX-340 receiver. The manual has connection details for many receivers, including the R-390.

It comes with the original manual, AC power supply, and direct pickup. I do not have the indirect pickup.

I'm asking $425 shipped. Paypal or money order.
