Red part turned in for a refund.

I already had built a 20 meter antenna for the car, and now I've added a 40 meter. I already got attention for the first one but the second is drawing more.

I was at the mall parking lot last night after close of business tapping out a CQ call on 40 meters. The mall rent-a-cop made a few circles around my car with his security vehicle and then parked 50 feet away. He approached my car with his flashlight and portable radio like a cat. I didn't want to be bothered with the hassle so I just drove away.

Hahaha!  Yeah, it could've been fun but I didn't want the good citizen to begin to take his job too seriously.
