Anyone have any info on Mods for the Hallicrafters HT-44 Transmitter ?

I picked up one that looks like a T/R Relay was added inside and a second RCA Phone
Jack was added to connect to the SX-117 Receiver.

Not sure yet what else has been done to it.

Tnx for any info you might have.

The HT-44 manual has instructions for adding the T/R relay. The jack would be to connect the antenna to the receiver when in receive. BAMA has the manual but it's in DJVU form. The plug-in is available on the web. I did it to mine. Beats having the extra box and cables running around.

It pays to dig into the box I got it in ....

Found an original manual for the HT-44 !! From it's color, it looks
like it came from the Mummy's Tomb. Very brittle and darkened
paper, but it's readable.

All has been explained.

Thanks for all the replies.
