The choke in the low voltage supply of my HT-37 went open.   I decided to try to fix the choke.   The repair was a bit of a kludge, but it worked.  Please let me know what you think.   I'm trying to figure out why the choke failed -- it may be that the insulation on the outside of the windings deteriorated over 60 years and allowed the coil to arc over to the close-by chassis or cabinet?
