It works! This puts the Pee in Peanut Whistle! Right out of the 1949 West Coast Handbook we have the classic 2-tube CW rig...another jonque box triumph. I'm getting 290 volts under load at 25 ma for a fabulous 7.25 watts input. Standard 6AG7 and 6L6 combo for 80 and 40 only; one knob tuning.  Using a 25 watt bulb for a load, I'm guessing it's doing about 5 watts out; just enough to make the parallel 5933 amp happy. I have a crystal for 3885 for the test. Keying is absolutely beautiful. So far, I have a pair of power supplies (600 volts) one for RF and one for Modulator. The RF supply is shown. I have a working exciter. Have not tested the amp yet, but so far so good. I'm building a separate speech amp / driver next and will decide on the modulator tubes / module later. I'm doing it that way so I can modulate a larger amp somewhere down the line. Sure feels good to get back in HB again and so far I haven't screwed up my pacemaker, HI HI!
