Did anyone else play in last month’s Classic Exchange (CX) with their Mil Gear ?

I drove my SCR-274N for about 24 CW contacts on 40 and 80.    The receivers used an outboard power supply (I have a hum issue that I need to look at when using dynamotors) but the transmitters were powered by the dynamotor on the BC-456.    The power source were two tractor batteries in series across the float charge output of a 28V power supply.    Power out was just under 20W CW; a bit low but I was only getting about 23.5V key down off the batteries.

With only 8W output on AM I didn’t even try.....  Undecided
