Remember the thrill of gathering around the living room radio for “theatre of the mind” broadcasts that inspired your thoughts to run loose? The fun is back on 75 meter AM with the Extra-Terrestrial & Supernatural Net returning on Halloween night for old tyme story-telling!

Back by popular demand from an inaugural run a couple of years ago where contributed stories resulted in a sleepless night for the masses.

Got a weird or creepy story to share? This is the net for you beginning at 7pm EDT, tentatively on 3885kc, so get ready to dim the shack lights and either share or enjoy the stories...

Does the story have to be about something that actually happened or can it be about something just made up?

I'm not real clear on this.

The truth is whatever you want it to be as long as you say it with conviction. The previous E&S Net featured a plethora of stories, all remarkable and riveting, few if any verifiable.

What I was talking about actually happened, and it was witnessed (experienced) by others who were present.

What I was talking about actually happened...

And that’s why I would have run out of there and put the house on the market the following day.

Folks will need to tune in to hear Steve’s encounter and why I think it’s one of the best stories for this Net.

Clark, maybe you can do an encore performance of your “Van de Graff Generators and Girl Friends, My Electrifying Experience” that you gave on 75 meters a few weeks back. That was hilarious.  Right up there with Shep’s best stuff.

Propagation Update:

Given how the 75M band has virtually shut down at 1900EDT for the past few days, let's try starting the ET&SN net an hour earlier at 1800EDT on Halloween night. 3885kc via the air or online at:

Clark OK on the net.
Seems the band has not shut down but gone very long for 80M. Last night staring at 1920hrs with 350W I worked Indiana then Arkansas followed by California all with good reports.   Right now hearing west USA stations quite strong. Refreshing change actually.

Bill - W3DUQ (sk) would be proud.  I am sure he is tuned in.
